These were presented on The Elexis Brown Golf Foundation charity day at Stonebridge Golf Club on 12th of April 2022.

Great to see Sapphire out on the course and using the winter to keep her practice going.

Sapphire was lucky enough to be invited to play with her friend Amelia at Slinfold Golf and Country Club.

The weather was not the best but definitely did not put these two determined young golfers off their golf.

With her golf clubs all been extended and custom fit to the right size all professionally done by Kevin Redfern of CustomGolfstix this is already showing a big difference in Sapphire game.

Sapphire coach Lee Jorden is working really hard with her with regular lessons in 2022 this could be a good year for Sapphire.

As you can see Sapphire is looking very smart wearing her EveryShotCounts outfit, Sapphire junior golf clothing has all been donated and provided for the EBG Foundation. Please visit there website on everyshotscounts.co.uk

On the 18th of December Sapphire and her dad Ian travelled to Pinner Hill Golf Club, to meet Kevin Redfern of CustomGolfStix.

Kevin worked his magic on Sapphires golf clubs and extended by 1 and a quarter inches.

Sapphires driver and rescue wood may need to be extended halfway through the season of 2022. Also Kevin re-gripped all of her clubs at the same time.

This will make such a difference to Sapphire and her golf for the season and it's a pleasure for the foundation to make this happen for Sapphire.

Sapphire is looking smart in her Every shot counts clothing in a photo with Kevin Redfern.

Dad Ian was walking around the local shopping area, when him and Sapphire walked in to a charity shop some years back.

When they came across some second hands childens golf clubs, dad Ian asked Sapphire if she wanted to have a go at golf just like daddy did when he was younger she replied and said yes please, this was the start of her golf journey.

Ian took Sapphire to the local 18 hole golf course which had a short par 3 course attached to it for beginners and for the next 6 weeks in march, he was helping her with her golf swing an teaching her the basics.

Sapphire was clearly showing a big interest in golf at this point, a local chap was walking by and stopped and was admiring her swing and he asked Ian if she would like to come and attend a 6 week week long Monday night golf coaching course.

Sapphire entered her first competition at the end of the course and was paired with a child older than her, she played a fantastic round of golf with some good shots, including a shot from 3 feet from the pin with her 7 iron finishing off with her putter which dad Ian purchased from sports direct a few days earlier.

this gave inspiration for Sapphire to enter in the BJGT events and other competitions over 2 seasons, Sapphire walked away with a very impressive 38 trophies.

Sapphire went on to play in the 18 hole events in the Robert Rock junior tour at the age of 10.

Then recently won the IMG world Championship Qualifiers at Cambridge Country GC, which means she goes to San Diego California in the summer of 2022 to represent the UK under 12 team in the finals.

Sapphire has also qualified for the Champions of Champions in Ireland 2022.

What a fantastic season Sapphire has had in 2021 and looking for an even better one in 2022 with her new handicap of 11.
